This is the quiz and questionnaire I have designed for EPQ. It was created on the 27th January 2016.
The questionnaire collects qualitative data.

The quiz consists of mathematical questions, one sat without music and one sat with music.
They are both of similar difficulty and consistency, and the percentage change will be calculated for the difference of the time taken.

The questionnaire has questions good for primary research, and I am hoping to gain a wide range different opinions and results from this experiment.

This song is a remixed version of the song called "5PM" listed above, performed by Kazumi Totaka.

In this composition I have attempted to produce a fun, happy. The tempo is faster at 235bpm. The original bpm is 108bpm.
The original song is very minimal and slow, so by adding more orchestral instruments and increasing the speed, I have created the same song with a more bubbly, upbeat feel. It is still meant to retain its 'chill' factor.
By adding orchestral instruments, I feel it removes the constant repetition the original song has. It also sounds a lot smoother and flows more fluidly, as opposed to the very short electric piano notes and marimba notes in the original song.
The original song does loop perfectly though, as the end of the song merges with the start. My remix has a distinct ending before it loops again.

Overall view of the song. During the first section of the song, there is no string ensemble, plucked nylon guitar, or full strings+ playing here. These instruments are introduced later on in the song (2nd and 3rd sections).

The trumpets and full strings. These repeat the repeating marimba and accordion notes from the original song.

The plastic nylon guitar introduced during the second part of the song. It, in my opinion, produces a smooth feeling along with the string ensemble as opposed to the emptiness from the original song (and the start of this remix).

Pizzicato bassline. Gives the song a bouncy feeling.

(Please note: the screenshots show a different instrument in the green box to what they actually are. This is an error caused when the instrument is changed after the green boxes are created and the name does not update)
